¿Cómo ha ido tu semana?
Te cuento la mía:

ENTRE EL BIEN Y EL MAL
He escrito este artículo tres veces, supongo que depende del día que tengas ves la vida más divertida o más intensa. Mi semana ha sido bonita a pesar de las malas noticias: Hacienda me requiere 1500€ de 2020 (Covid) porqué dice que no se justifica en mi trabajo utilizar Photoshop - risas-, pero también ha venido a verme “el chico que estoy conociendo”. Soy feliz, soy muy feliz. De eso va esto: no de lo que te pasa, si no de como te lo tomas; no de lo que tienes que hacer, si no de soñar y empujar para adelante; no de la acción si no de la gestión; no de esperar milagros si no de hacer que pasen (La semana que viene hablaremos de esto en el brunch y dibujaremos un Daruma - un contenedor de deseos japonés -, siempre que me pongo las pilas hago que me pasen cosas que parecían imposibles, te contaré cómo lo hago). Esta también semana he dibujado mucho MUCHO, preparando nuevos retratos con un nuevo estilo de dibujo digital, también inspirado en la técnica de grabado japonés que usa la estampación. ¡¡Me encantaría haceros muchos retratos por San Valentín tribu croissant!!

BETWEEN GOOD & EVIL
I have written this article three times, I guess it depends on the day you have, you see life more fun or more intense. My week has been nice in spite of the bad news: the Treasury requires me 1500€ of 2020 (Covid) because it says that it is not justified in my work to use Photoshop -laughs-, but also “the guy I'm meeting” has come to see me. I'm happy, I'm very happy. That's what this is about: not about what happens to you, but how you take it; not about what you have to do, but about dreaming & pushing forward; not about action but about management; not about expecting miracles but about making them happen (next week we will talk about this at brunch & we will draw a Daruma - a Japanese wish container -, whenever I get my act together I make things happen that seemed impossible, I will tell you how I do it). This week also I have been drawing a lot A LOT, preparing new portraits with a new style of digital drawing, also inspired by the Japanese engraving technique using stamping, I would love to do many portraits for Valentine's Day croissant tribe!!!!

LLÉVAME A BAILAR
He escrito tres veces este artículo con varios manuales para estar en pareja, la semana pasada reflexionábamos sobre las red flags y hablamos sobre el manual de instrucciones que tenían nuestros padres “aguanta el mismo amor hasta que te mueras, si no, eres una fracasada”. He pensado mucho sobre cuál sería la respuesta más sencilla, a parte de trucos y listas, y es esta tan bonita: “Llévame a bailar”. ¿Sabes cuando estás en una fiesta y puedes ser uno de los dos siguientes personajes?: el que es el alma de la fiesta y el que está sentado que nadie saca a bailar. Pues bien, en una pareja somos ambos personajes, nos vamos turnando. Se suele decir que en una pareja uno tira del carro, pero a mi ese concepto me suena unidireccional y sufrido. Sacar a bailar es mucho más divertido. Bailar implica acción, aprendizaje, escucha, liderazgo, seguimiento, acompañamiento, coordinación, conversación sin palabras, dos personas jugando a crear algo. A veces propones tú, a veces propone la otra persona. Podría desarrollarlo más pero creo que el concepto se entiende. Pues eso es estar en pareja para mi. Me alegro de no haberme quedado con el primer texto.

TAKE ME TO DANCE
I have written three times this article with several manuals to be in couple, last week we reflected on the red flags & talked about the instruction manual that our parents had “hold the same love until you die, if not, you are a failure”. I've been thinking a lot about what the simplest answer would be, aside from tricks & lists, & it's this cute one: “Take me dancing”. You know when you're at a party & you can be one of the next two characters: the one who is the life of the party a& the one sitting there that no one asks to dance. Well, in a couple we are both characters, we take turns. It is often said that in a couple one pulls the cart, but to me this concept sounds unidirectional & suffered. Dancing is much more fun. Dancing implies action, learning, listening, leadership, following, accompaniment, coordination, conversation without words, two people playing to create something. Sometimes you propose, sometimes the other person proposes. I could develop it more but I think the concept is understood. Well, that's what being in a couple is for me. I'm glad I didn't stay with the first text.

SEMANA DE MODA
Empieza la semana de la moda de hombre en París, esta semana que viene en mi Instagram os voy dando claves. También he reactivado un magazine el cual me ayudó mucho en mi carrera y me hizo muy feliz (el originario de este Newsletter) LIVING FOR BREAKFAST. Es un experimento, no os puedo explicar bien qué es, pero no te lo pierdas, es pura energía creativa, inspiración, desayuno, cine, literatura, moda y París. Estoy en modo TRABAJO TRABAJO TRABAJO sin tener claro que me va a venir, pero con una claridad impresionante del camino que debo caminar y, aunque no todos los tramos del camino me parecen agradables, me muero de ganas de caminarlo.
A ver que aventuras nos depara este fin de semana.

FASHION WEEK
Men's fashion week starts in Paris, this coming week on my Instagram I will be giving you clues. I have also reactivated a magazine which helped me a lot in my career & made me very happy (the originator of this Newsletter) LIVING FOR BREAKFAST. It's an experiment, I can't explain well what it is, but don't miss it, it's pure creative energy, inspiration, breakfast, cinema, literature, fashion & Paris. I'm in WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK mode without knowing what's coming, but with an impressive clarity of the road I have to walk &, although not all parts of the road seem pleasant to me, I can't wait to walk it.
Let's see what adventures this weekend has in store for us.
