• CROISSANT _ RED HEART

The quintessential color of love is red, but we never actually see red. By strict definition, the color red is a mixture of 50% pure magenta and 50% pure yellow. In light color red is a primary color so to see it we should see 100% red and 0% of the rest. It is not difficult to see that the percentages of purity are always utopian and, obviously, all that red that invades our stores and hearts these days are, without doubt, impure. In fact, technically all colors that are not pure red and fall between it and yellow are orange, i.e. love is orange. Now you want to ask me, “Vincent, so everything we call red is not red?”. Well, croissant friend, love like red is not what you think or have been told it is, but what you see or want to see, that's why red and love get along so well.

• FRESHLY SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE _ 4 HEARTS OUT OF 5

We celebrate the love of a couple when, in reality, there are many kinds of love: friends, family, work, a city, sport, food, a book... I still love my little dog Marcel madly and he is no longer on this plane of the world. I always will. Love has no clear beginning and no clear end, even across time and space.  Love cannot be ranked or measured (“This relationship is a 4 out of 5 hearts”). Love is an emotion and, like the others, it is up to you to feel and manage it. Authentic love, I tell you, is when someone helps you, even saves your life, without expecting anything, absolutely nothing in return. Love is giving the other person the crunchy horn of the croissant because you know it is the best part and it is your favorite, making that person feel, for a moment, what you feel: infinite and quantum love for the horn of a croissant.

Your reason for being, that which makes you wake up every morning with your heart at 100 and you don't mind dedicating many hours to it. In Okinawa Island, Japan, people live for many years and one of the reasons for this is that they practice their own Ikigai. As with everything in life, why you do it is important.

• CHEESE & JAM _ PARIS

Paris is as much the city of love as love you bring to it on your visit. Here there is noise, dirt, queues and cars. There is metro, there are people complaining (just as much or more where you come from) and yes, sitting shoulder to shoulder with your love on the terrace of a cafe is the best thing in the world but, for it to be, that complicity, that look of the two of you, how you will do it from the chairs in a row, must come with you on the trip. And then the most romantic city in the world is anyone, and here there is beauty everywhere and, then, everything is stretched, exaggerated and exalted. And then you don't care if there are queues and people complaining, you comment on how beautiful the attics are and how good this cafe is (and you don't care how expensive it is because you are together).
