I like working in August, the city is yours, you don't queue, you sit in the subway and enjoy the solitude in the office. And all, or almost all, e-mails are answered with the same formula: "I'm out of the office". At that moment, an automatic message tells you what the sender of the message really wants but without saying it, not a word: "At this moment my priority is my family", "I cannot attend you because I am practicing my hobby, baking, "At this moment I am making love with my partner", "I am - temporarily - out of the office because outside of it I am now happy".
The following sentences are excerpts from real "out of office" e-mails. Friends are like the best stories, the good ones are always in front of you, whether you want to see them or not.
SOMETIMES YOU FIX THINGS KNOWING THEY WILL BREAK AGAIN. BUT, FOR A MOMENT, YOU KNOW THEY WON'T BE BROKEN.

Me gusta trabajar en agosto, la ciudad es tuya, no haces colas, te sientas en el metro y disfrutas de la soledad en la oficina. Y todos, o casi todos, los e-mails se te responden con la misma fórmula: “Estoy fuera de la oficina”. En ese momento, un mensaje automático te expone lo que realmente quiere el emisor del mensaje pero sin decirlo, ni una palabra: “En este momento mi prioridad es mi familia”, “No puedo atenderte porqué estoy practicando mi hobby, la pastelería, “En este momento hago el amor con mi pareja”, “Estoy - temporalmente - fuera de la oficina porqué fuera de ella ahora soy feliz”.
Las siguientes frases son extractos de verdaderos e-mails “Fuera de la oficina”. Los amigos son como las mejores historias, los buenos siempre están delante de ti, las quieras ver o no.
A VECES ARREGLAS COSAS SABIENDO QUE SE VAN A VOLVER A ROMPER. PERO, POR UN MOMENTO, SABES QUE NO ESTARÁN ROTAS.
