IF IT'S PARIS IT'S FASHION
Close your eyes (don't close them literally, keep reading please) but imagine that you close your eyes to display (we are already there) that you are wearing a vertigo dress, on those wonderful and very high shoes (they are comfortable, it's your imagination) and from your arm hangs that expensive and exclusive handbag that until now you have only seen in streaming series. You walk (very comfortable and very well accompanied by your bag) through the rues parisiennes towards the Grand Palais. Who says walk is referring to the small stretch between the chauffeured car and the queue to enter to the show. What the hell, it's an imagination! Between the chauffeured car and the entrance of the VIP attendees (I wish my life had been my imagination, I usually do myself the pre-show with the security guards who do not understand that I am neither celebrity nor photographer, something in between, but that's a story for another article). Anyway (We are talking about you and your comfortable imagination), there you are, you, elevated on your heels and balanced by the weight of your bag entering the door of one of the biggest and most exclusive shows in the world: THE PARIS FASHION WEEK. Voila! The brunch of flashes and glamour is served. Bon appétit.

SI ES PARÍS ES MODA
Cierra los ojos (no los cierres literalmente, sigue leyendo por favor) pero imagina que cierras los ojos para visualizar (ya estamos allí) que vas vestida de vértigo, sobre esos zapatos maravillosos y altísimos (son cómodos, es tu imaginación) y de tu brazo cuelga ese bolso caro y exclusivo que hasta ahora solo has visto en series en streaming. Caminas (muy cómoda y muy bien acompañada de tu bolso) por las rues parisienses dirección al Grand Palais. Quien dice caminar se refiera al pequeño tramo entre el coche con chofer y la cola para entrar a un desfile. ¡Qué demonios! ¡Es una imaginación! ¡Entre el coche con chofer y la entrada de los asistentes VIP (ojalá mi vida hubiera sido mi imaginación, suelo hacer el per-show con los seguratas que no entienden que no soy ni celebridad ni fotógrafo, algo intermedio, pero eso es una historia para otro artículo). En fin (Qué hablamos de ti y tu cómoda imaginación), allí estás, tú, elevada en tus tacones y equilibrada por el peso del bolso entrando por la puerta de uno de los mayores y más exclusivos shows del mundo: LA SEMANA DE LA MODA DE PARÍS. Voilá! El brunch de flashes y glamour está servido. Bon appétit.

- Ready-to-wear - Normally casual clothing pre-made and serialized although fashion week shows are not restricted to this category of streetwear.
- Listo ahora llevar - Ropa normalmente informal confeccionada previamente y en serie aunque los shows de la semana de la moda no se restringen a esta categoría de ropa de calle.

HAUTE COUTURE
- Haute Couture - A method of tailor-made, artisan tailoring that usually uses high quality material and requires many hours of work. The name "Haute Couture" is protected by law and has to meet strict requirements such as the workshop must imperatively be in Paris (We will talk about it in a future article).
- Alta costura - Método de confección artesano y a medida que suele utilizar material de gran calidad y requiere muchas horas de trabajo. La denominación “Alta Costura” está protegida por ley y ha de cumplir unos estrictos requisitos como que el taller debe estar imperativamente en París (Hablaremos de ello en un futuro artículo).
